One of our focus products is the pumpkin. Through intensive cooperation with suppliers all over the world, we ensure that our customers can work with the best pumpkins. As with our sweet potatoes, we can import pumpkins based on customer-specific wishes. All pumpkin varieties are available at daily, weekly, monthly or annual prices.
Varieties of pumpkins at GlobalFair
The product comes from the Cucurbita family, which consists of several varieties. GlobalFair offers you three types of pumpkins.
Butternut squash
The butternut squash is by far the most popular variety and has the shape of a bottle. Its popularity is due to the fact that the butternut squash is a good meat substitute and is suitable for use in all kinds of dishes, such as pumpkin soup or stuffed butternut squash.
Muscat squash
With its ribbed appearance and aromatic flesh, the nutmeg squash owes its name to its taste. The pumpkin tastes strongly like nutmeg. This type is suitable for roasting in the oven.
Hokkaido pumpkin
The Hokkaido pumpkin is also called Japanese pumpkin and is firm in structure, but in turn has a soft skin. As a result, the pumpkin does not have to be peeled before use. This saves a step in your production process.
